Keep getting this error: Mesh [Geometry have no name] in the fbx file is not reference by any hierarchy node

I keep getting that error message whenever I try to import my Maya character + Animations. Is there something I’m doing wrong?

Ok so I was able to import the character but then I got some more specific errors, any ideas why?

The following bones are missing from the bind pose:
Bip001_L_Prop
Bip001_L_Prop_Nub
Bip001_R_Prop
Bip001_R_Prop_Nub
Bip001_L_Toe0_Nub
Bip001_R_Toe0_Nub
Bip001_Hip_Nub
Bip001_Head_Nub

This can happen for bones that are not vert weighted. If they are not in the correct orientation after importing,
please set the “Use T0 as ref pose” option or add them to the bind pose and reimport the skeletal mesh.

What worked for me is :
in the export selection dialogue, try change the FBX version to un older one

Hi, you must have the same root hierarchy as your exportable file.
