Am I the only person with the main viewport tab migrating one slot to the right every time I open the editor?
I know it’s really not make or break, but it does get a little wearing…

I’m with you, I find it highly annoying to have to re-order them every time I open the Editor… most of the time you order them with a certain logic flow in mind, and to find that flow interfered with is extremely irritating

Also to have to rearrange tabs every time I open the editor again (which happens often during the day).

Really old post but the “problem” still persists even now.
And yes, it is kinda annoying especially when you work with multiple monitors.
But there is also another problem. On my left monitor I always keep Content Browser, and depending on what I need I also add some assets as tabs when I need to look at two at the same time (one on left monitor, and one on center monitor). Now if I close the editor what other assets were added alongside Content Browser they are simply removed from the window and get added in a different window on main monitor (center).
Not to mention that even opening assets isn’t persistent. Sometimes when I open a new asset it gets added as a tab on my main monitor window, other times it gets added as a tab alongside Content Browser, other times they are opened in a new window on the main monitor (center). And I’m not talking about different types of assets, this can happen even if I open multiple assets of same type (only Widgets or only Skeletal meshes for example).
Even if you use Save/Load Layout it doesn’t seem to make any difference, as that one only seem to keep track of sizes and not tabs anyway.
