I’m probably being dumb and not looking hard enough… but, the titles below our user name get determined?
I’m apparently a ‘Samaritan’ whatever that means… I’ve seen people with more posts, and about the same number of posts that they’re not a “Samaritan” does it have something to do with how long I’ve been a forum member?

The title depends on how much you are posting. I think with 150 posts you are going to be a “Promoter” like I am.
I’m not sure if this is possible. Maybe you saw some kind of a badge, like Moderator or Game Jam Finalist?

yep, post count determines the title, except the ones like “Moderator” or “Unreal Engine Support”…ect.

I totally agree regarding the badges.

Indeed, the titles are determined by post count, except a few. My title is currently the highest title you can get.

But when you have this title, we need a fresh one, for the poster with similar postcount!
Titlesharing is outdated, be creative epic.

On a somewhat related note, has anyone noticed the titles have become smaller in text size? Or did I do something in my browser?
so they have, didn’t even realize until you said, also all the info and badges look smaller as well, or is that just me;)
–edit–
checked the badges and they haven’t changed so that one was just me:p.

Haha, I was going to say I didn’t notice the badges. Good to know I didn’t just inadvertently tweak a setting in my browser or something. =P

It’s all about gamification now, wait until you get a badge for doing your taxes on time

Not necessarily, people with badges have usually earned them

Still too soon for those jokes? Yeah… I thought so.

I’ve heard of a few companies that use gamification on their employees, where they get points and achievements for doing their days work or something like that. Then they have their little pimped out avatar to show everyone.
