  • Make sure you have signed up for the Unreal Studio Beta: Datasmith - Unreal Engine
  • Then make sure you have installed the Unreal Datasmith plugin from the Unreal Engine > Library page on the Epic Games launcher

(Note: I see based on your account history that you have joined the Unreal Studio beta a few days after making this post. I assume that has resolved your issue.)

No answer from me, but I have the same problem and cannot find any datasmith import plugin, on my system or via the Epic Games launcher. What am I doing wrong?

I can see that you have joined the Unreal Studio Beta.

The next step is to make sure you are logging into the Epic Games launcher with the correct account. Many people have two accounts, and are logging in with the wrong one.
