The Position:

Polker is looking for a Gaming Producer to play a central role in the leadership of the gaming business. You will partner with the Developers, and the Design Department to coordinate to complete the milestones, process, and progress of a game’s design, development and release actually happen**. Producers keep game development and design teams moving towards deadlines, working collaboratively, and sticking to the same creative and technical vision

This leader will form strong collaborative partnerships with others like engineering, architecture, and technology leaders within Polker.

  • Manage the production of incredibly compelling, high-quality video games
  • Plan and oversee the project, and manage members of the team
  • Work with the executive management team to craft the vision of the titles, and to develop schedules and resource requirements to ensure achievement of the vision
  • Initiate and track all production processes through direct management of team leads (art, design, development, QA)
  • Direct relationship management of third-party consulting firms
  • Ensure timely delivery of milestones while safeguarding the quality of work in accordance with the pre-defined project schedule
  • Develop and maintain project schedules for all functional areas of development
  • Work with QA to triage game issues and drive updates to the game service
  • Assume the role of representing mobile projects internally and externally.
  • Contribute to improving the quality of our games, the productivity of our teams, and the efficiency of our processes.

This position is managerial and will work with all levels of Senior Management. The Game Architect will work with a certain level of autonomy in collaboration with the CTO, Chief of Gaming, and all operational personnel and Information Systems.

Who You Are:

  • Adaptable - Comfortable with a complex, fast-paced, and varying work environment.

  • Knowledgeable - Knowledge of JIRA, Unreal Engine 4, Python, JAVA, GitHub, C++, and experience using these platforms/languages.

  • Collaborative - Superb interpersonal effectiveness; able to work with a team towards the accomplishment of a goal and have critical conversations.

  • Focused - Able to quickly and concisely understand and synthesize goals and needs for a wide variety of specialized projects with a strong collaborative nature and internal customer orientation.

  • Experienced - 5+ years of experience in all aspects of Project Management including Business Analysis and Change Management using JIRA, workflow management within JIRA, sprints, scrum, and AGILE methodologies.

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors that are included but not limited to experience, performance, location, and education. The range listed is just one component of Polker’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include (but are not guaranteed to be) cash bonuses, PKR bonuses, and region-specific benefits.
