Jiggle physics movement artifact

Hi, recently I started using ue5 physics with constraint on my character and it works inside the viewports, thanks to some video on youtube.
But I have only 1 problem for now, when my character is on idle animation (the one from the mannequin achived with retargeting) the pectorals starts going up and down continuilsy. How I can stop this movement ? I tried by remove all the pectorals’s keyframes from the animation with blender but nothing changed.
PS: I’m using UE5.1.1
Thanks in advance.

Hey @ReSteel!

Would you mind sharing your physics/constraint settings so we can get a better idea of what may be going wrong?

Any additional specifics you provide may go a long way in solving your problem!

Hi, thanks for the reply, here is the photo for the settings I used for the Constraints.

This is the video of my problem.

I’ve had the problem too. I can’t remember for sure but I want to say it’s in the position targeting and angular targeting strength settings. I pretty sure if I had them set to high the breasts would start randomly shaking.

My Current breast settings…

Hi, this is the settings that broke everythings, if I put it to 0 i didn’t get any random movement.
I can’t change this value, I tried your settings but It didn’t solve the issue.

Well then something else if off because that doesn’t make sense. I can usually crank those numbers up into the 1000’s before I have any problems. Other physics shapes and constraints, gravity on/off, and the collision capsule can also interfere and create issues. Having any type of collision set to any other shapes can interfere. it’s Unreal, so one tiny thing being off and it ruins everything.

Also try unlocking or setting all the settings to free to test. Sometimes if the wrong thing on the wrong set of jiggle is locked it can create problems.

In order to use the physics I had to scale down the capsule component and then adjust the character position. Then change collision type of the character to pawn.
