UltiUnreal Camera is a plugin that customizes Unreal Engine’s CineCamera. It is designed for video production and virtual production workflows where you need a precise garbage alpha and tracking for greenscreen work. It extends Unreal Engine’s CineCamera to provide a clean, controllable alpha output based on stencil masks, ready to be sent to a hardware output (AJA / Blackmagic, etc.).

Simply drop BP_UUCameraOutput into your level, assign stencil values to the desired objects, and UU Camera takes care of producing an appropriate alpha channel for external keyers.

Requirements

  • Unreal Engine: 5.7 (or higher where listed as supported for this product)

  • Operating System: Windows

  • Plugins to enable (free plugins shipped natively with Unreal 5.7):

    • Media Framework / MediaIO

    • CineCameraSceneCapture

    • AJA Media (for AJA cards)

    • Blackmagic Media (for Blackmagic cards)

  • An AJA- or Blackmagic-compatible video card is recommended to fully benefit from the hardware RGB + Alpha output (but you can still use the render target inside Unreal without any hardware).

There is no option to blur the edges of the alpha. The alpha image is strictly black and white.

This plugin is focused on alpha and output control, not on camera movement tools, lens databases, or full virtual production orchestration.
