This system can easily and smoothly complement existing damage frameworks. Already have a hit-point accurate system? Use this as another visual layer to bring those hits to life. Or use it for the player character, making it look like the blood from the enemy splattered on him.

Don't just show damage - show the consequence.

  • Skinned Method: Unlike standard shaders, the blood overlay is "glued" to the character. No "texture swimming" during animations or ragdolls.
