Japanese input menthod in CollabViewer template

Hello
I am a beginner with UE for architectural visualization.
I have created a project from the engine’s built-in CollabViewert template.
But there is a problem that when running the game, the Annotate Text function cannot type Hiragana, Katakana or kanji (three types of Japanese characters). However if I copy and paste a Japanese word or sentence it shows up correctly.
I think the problem is not with the font settings (because I imported a font that supports Japanese like MSgotic (ttf) and changed the font setting of the text wiget )
It seems the Microsoft Japanese IME doesn’t work when running the game (it works fine in the engine editor). I tried to switch to Japanese keyboard language but I can only use alphanumeric mode (A), when I try to switch to hiragana mode (あ) , nothing happens.
I tried with Google Japanese IME but it doesn’t work either.
I have tried another language like Vietnamese which also doesn’t work (in Windows default keyboard language), However if I use a software that supports typing Vietnamese characters like Unikey, I can type correctly Vietnamese.
Do I have to install anything else for the input methods to work, in this case the Microsoft IME of windows?
