V2 Update! - REV 2025
Now here in FAB you get support for Unreal Engine 4.26 up to 5.6 [current].
The Unreal Engine pack will have the meshes added and tweaked in-engine, game ready.
Include material instances to change mesh color and some fun demo scenes with physics enabled on some meshes. More info about UE pack contents in the Unreal Engine tab.
Additional File Download has different texture sizes if needed for both UE and PBR profile exports.
There are some additional small tweaks to the additional file. Current version Rev 2025. Patch notes in the additional file tab.
UE4 has light baked scenes, UE5 all dynamic.

Some additional notes for the Unreal Engine pack [character limit UE tab]:
Important/Additional Notes:
Material Instances are derivate from two master materials. 1. Uses ORM texture and 2. is an optimized variant which does not use ORM texture/s and pulls look from material instance individual ORM sliders. Metallic, Roughness and AO. In-case you want to use less textures.
UE4 uses static light baked scenes, UE5 has dynamic scenes and some extra illumination scenes. Both have a FUN scene with all meshes physics turned on.
UE5.6 had some bugs with the showcase scene material. Changed water-like basic material from Volumetric NonDirectional to Surface Translucency Volume. This is totally outside main pack contents so you good.
Material Instances include ColorChange color wheel, Desaturation Power for BC, Color Change Power. AO/Metalness,Roughness,Normal Map Power sliders and Texture Inputs. Also an extra experimental wind node to simulate wind or that the ball is maybe being hit. It is disabled by default but you can play with it for fun effects :]
For V2 I added some new variations, revised topology and polycount on some versions and re-textured versions and variations.
Note: Please download the Additional File to access all V2 contents, thank you!
IMPORTANT: I cannot guarantee support for glTF, GLB, and USDZ. I mostly work and provide the best version of my 3D models at FBX and BLEND files only. The conversion file is the one generated from the page.
Old Viewer with the single beach ball is from V1.
Model Formats:
.FBX and .BLEND
FBX includes all individual exports at 000
Blend includes showcase scenes, blend with all models at origin 000. TexturesAttached scene included for easier access.
Textures [T_]
JFG / PBR [BaseColor, Metallic, Normal, Occlusion, Roughness] - Total for all variations and sizes 336 Textures
For a single batch size [all beach balls in scene as of V2] example at 2K resolution size - 84 textures total.
PNG / UNREAL ENGINE packed [BC / N / ORM] - Total for all variations and sizes 336 Textures
For a single batch size [all beach balls in scene as of V2] example at 2K resolution size - 63 textures total.
Each 3D beach ball uses 1x set of PBR textures.
For example
1x PBR set is 5 textures [BaseColor, Normal, Roughness, Metalness, Occlusion].
1x UE packed set is 3 textures [_BC, _N, packed _ORM]. [If wanted to import it to Unreal Engine].
Texture batches divide as:
V2
V2_HD
V2_HD_Var_1
V2_HD_Var_Color_1
V2_HD_Var_Color_2
V2_HD_Var_Dirty
V2_Var_1
For both profiles and batches different texture sets/export sizes available as variations [in-case you needed the texture set at a higher or lower resolution for each beach ball]:
[PBR {5x textures each 3D model} or
Unreal Engine {3x textures each 3D model}]
Exported Texture Resolution Sizes available for each beach ball: 512x512, 1k [1024x1024], 2k [2048x2048] and 4k [4096x4096]
Visualizer or Viewer uses 2k or 2048x2048 textures resolution sizes.
Naming conventions used:
SM_ / M_ / T_
Blender Scene and Pack contents organized and named accordingly for easy access.
Textured Variations for V2
V2 Flat - same as V1
V2 HD - Added details to the texture like folds and extra detail for up and bottom areas.
V2 Dirty - It is the HD version but dirty
Includes some random colored variations as seen in the 3D viewer.
Polycount:
For v2 it cointains 3 models only, all else are textured variations
V2 LowerPoly: 1024 tris, 514 verts
V2 HigherPoly: 3712 tris, 1858 verts
V2 Arounded [a normal spherical ball]: 960 tris, 482 verts
I also added a few variations and revised topology for version 1.
V1 Original: 3968 tris, 1986 verts
v1 Revised: same polycount just re-routed some edges.
V1 higher poly with details on top and bottom areas [Note: this version has overlapping UVs]: 8192 tris, 4098 verts.
Check 3D viewer for more info!
Zoom into the beach balls to see more details about each 3D model and texture and make sure to load it in HD textures if possible so the model and textures load as intended.
Thanks for looking! Have a nice day! :]
V1 contents still left in the package if you liked the V1 beach ball :]
