i’ve downloaded unrealengine…but now i cant see how to launch it…please advise
Did you download the Unreal Engine 4 Launcher or the source codes via GitHub?
I think it was the Unreal Engine 4 Launcher. Whatever download was shown after I signed up.
If you downloaded the Unreal Engine 4 Launcher, you should be able to download the Engine precompiled through the Library. Just click on “+ Add Engine” and select the Engine Version you want. After that click on “Install”. If it’s ready, you can click on “Launch”.
I believe that I just downloaded the introduction videos to show me how to navigate through creating my own game. I want the download to start creating my own game.
Its still not letting me download. The yellow tag says “subscribed” instead of “Launch” or “Install”
Can you try to restart the launcher and log in again. Maybe that will work

Are you sure that you have payed for the Engine already and/or that you selected the last Engine Version you paid for?
Will this software continue fee per service as I build my game or is it just a flat $19 a month purchase for everything?
Hi design1177,
Can you post a screenshot so we can see what might be occurring? Additionally, have you tried re-installing the launcher and signing in once you run the launcher?
Hi Design1177,
It is a subscription of $19 a month for everything except marketplace content, which have their own individual costs set by the developers of the content, however you can cancel any time and retain access to the launcher version of the engine that you most recently had. For instance, we are currently on 4.6.1, if you paid for one month and during that month 4.7 came out, you would be able to retain access to 4.6.1 and 4.7 along with any updates to those versions of the engine. If you decided you want to re-subscribe you would be able to gain access to newer versions of the engine. We offer support to paid subscribers as well as those who have paid for the engine and decided to cancel afterwards.
