I've been again Suspended for 2 weeks by AI moderation

How is this system still not fixed? Yes, in a “Locker room” asset I had a basketball with a real logo, but is this really such a big issue that my whole account needs to be suspended for weeks? I can fix this in 10 minutes, but I’ve been completely locked out of the account. What’s the point of suspension then?

The same thing happened last summer, with me losing week worth of sales. With nobody acknowledging that the automated moderation is broken and made a mistake.

I get that there’s a lot of sellers and they can’t be all moderated by humans, but why are sellers who have been selling for many years and have thousands of sales, not worth even a few seconds of time, to be double checked they really need to be suspended.

Honestly, with how many problems there are on FAB, I am certain the moderation team doesn’t actually exists, and it’s just some poor regular Epic employee who has to look at it once in a while. Or Epic is just outsourcing it, like they are outsourcing the development of FAB.

Hence why situations like this, that should be resolved in a day or two max, continue for so long.

There is a real moderation team, it’s just hard to get in contact. First you have to deal with this automated system. Then you can contact customer support that just quote rules and tell you to read FAQ. I’m not sure how much human input there is and i’m pretty sure they have no power to make any changes. Only after convincing them there’s an issue, are you allowed to talk to actual people.

I’m actually fine with this system. Even if it takes time to get anything done.

I just don’t get why the AI mod has the power to ban people without warning. If they told me I had a copyrighted material, I would have quickly removed it without complaint. If I didn’t after some warnings, then sure suspend me.

According to “Senior staff” member, having a basketball with the name Wilson on it, in one asset amongst 80 other big assets, means you get banned for two weeks. With no options for an appeal, or any warning or options to fix it.

I told them I can easily fix it or even delete the asset in question from my store. But no, I need to wait 2 weeks with no sales on my only source of income.

Hey @Zeps9001  I appreciate the time you have taken to reach out on the Epic Developer Community. I’m reaching out to the Fab Support team to gather some more information on the suspension, and hope to respond as soon as I know more about this case.

Thanks!

I have encountered this situation twice already, and I just ran into it again. The seller account was suspended in FAB for 14 days. But shouldn’t it be that only the problematic work be taken offline, rather than suspending all the works in the account? Because even if I can log back in afterwards, every single work would have to be manually reviewed and re-listed again. I have hundreds of works in my account — this behavior is frustrating and hard for me to understand.

Heya  I understand the frustration this causes, especially the manual work afterwards to get everything up and running again. However, suspensions occur only after multiple infractions, and on each occasion, an email is sent.

The reason listings are moved to drafts is to give the publisher ample time to review their content and ensure that no future issues arise that could lead to further infractions and additional suspensions.

I hope this clears that up. Thanks!

This is a lie, i never got an a warning. First email I got was that I’m suspended.

I’ve like 15 other active sanctions. All of which I fixed and removed the copyrighted material, but after trying to appeal them, all of them stayed active. After asking about it to customer support, they said: “Correcting an issue with the product does not overturn the sanction or strike on your account.”

Also can I get an explanation, how am i supposed to review my content when I’m completely locked out of my store.
