I have a user defined struct definition I use in a ton of blueprints. I needed to edit it to add some functionality. In the past this has been a sure path to corrupting blueprints.See: Here I know there have been a lot of really good stability fixes so I was hopeful this would work now, but no dice. Blueprints that use the struct have their pins disconnected now, and refreshing all nodes in these blueprints causes the editor to crash.
I haven’t been able to reproduce this issue in-house but I suspect that it is like most struct bugs and it isn’t reproducible unless the struct is used by many different blueprints.
If you can find a reliable repro or upload a test project I will continue investigating the issue.
With that said, we have made several major fixes to Structs that are currently slotted for the 4.9 release. So there is a fairly good chance you may see this issue fixed in that build.
We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so we are marking this post as resolved for tracking purposes. If you’re still experiencing this issue, please feel free to post back here with additional information.
