It seems like there’s something invisible or unexpected sitting above the landscape surface. I’m testing a map purchased via FAB, and there’s one specific location where something appears to be interfering.
When I place a physics asset in that area, it hovers above the ground unnaturally. Additionally, the NavMesh is baked noticeably higher than the terrain in that same spot (so far it only happens there — other areas seem fine based on my tests and screenshots).
Any idea what could be causing this?
Hey @cstone2563! Welcome to the forums!
I couldn’t tell you how to fix this, others might be able to but I have limited experience altering terrain assets… What I can tell you is it looks like the mesh collision baking issue. I would either contact the creator on FAB, or you could check out this thread and see if their latest solution works for you! How do you regenerate the Landscape Collision, as its not matching the terrain - #27 by BAWJA
Hope that helps!
