Issues with Weapon Break Animation

Hey everyone!
We’re currently working on a special dagger that breaks after one hit and plays our own break animation. We found the Weapon Break Anim in the defaults of our weapon template, but we couldn’t get it to work. Now we try to trigger the animation in the event graph (image). This works fine except in one case: if we equip the weapon while in third person, break it and then switch to first person while the break animation plays, the first person animation doesn’t play and the character’s arms are just stretched out without moving. This only happens when we equip in third person. If we equip in first person, everything works fine whether we attack in first or third person and we can switch between first and third person without problems, as both animations are playing. The problem’s the same for the male and female character. Any idea where this might come from? Thanks!
