It seems like meshes generated in RC contain some topological defects which go undetected by most clean-up tools both in RC and external software. This is generally not a problem as the meshes render correctly in most applications including Sketchfab, but the “bad polygons” can be seen when looking at the wireframe and are extremely hard to remove.
This is especially visible in simplified meshes and it looks like stacked “extra polygons” sharing vertices. (not an issue with flipped face normals)
Has anyone experienced problems due to this? Can you offer input and possible work-arounds?
Thanks
