Issues with Textures Not Properly Reflecting When Importing FBX Files

Content: I am using Unreal Engine 5.3.2 and want to import an FBX file into a level to walk and fly around in a third-person view.

The FBX file does not contain textures internally; instead, all the texture images are located in a Texture folder at the same hierarchy level as the FBX file.

Despite several attempts at importing, I have been unable to successfully apply the textures.

I would appreciate any advice on how to resolve this issue. Additionally, if there are any tutorial videos or URLs that might be helpful, I would like to know about them.

Operating Environment:
UE5.3.2
Mac Sonoma 14.1

References URLs:

The FBX file does not contain textures. All the texture images are in a Texture folder, which is located in the same directory as the FBX file.

I’ve tried importing a few times, but I can’t seem to get the textures to apply correctly.

I would appreciate any advice on what to do. Also, if there are any tutorial videos or URLs that could be helpful, please let me know.

I would love hear otherwise, but I’m pretty sure you can’t import materials in FBX ( into Unreal ).

You have to import the textures manually, and make the material in engine.
