Issues with Sales and Payments Since December

Hi Unreal Engine team and community,

I’d like to report a few issues regarding my sales and payments on the Fab and ArtStation platforms:

  1. Sharp drop in sales since December 22nd:** Starting from that date, my sales have dropped to zero, which is unusual compared to previous periods. I’ve also noticed that other creators are reporting the same issue. Could you provide an explanation for this?
  2. Unpaid sale from Unreal Engine Marketplace:** I have a sale made on October 2nd in Unreal Engine Marketplace that was not included in the December payout. What will happen to that amount? When will it appear in the earnings progress bar?
  3. Pending funds on ArtStation:** I have a few sales on ArtStation, but I haven’t reached the minimum withdrawal threshold. With the closure of the ArtStation store, what will happen to these pending funds?

I also have a sharp drop in sales since December. And January is a disaster. Last year in January I had 20 sales with only 2 product. Now I have 10 product and only 1 sale. Since Fab I releasing products every month, it stabilized(not increased) my income until December. Even my free product won’t sell. Maybe I move my retro style stuff to itchio.
It would be great to see a statistic from the site. We don’t know whats the cause of low sales, our product or the site is just dead. If the site is dead it would be good to know because its very unfair to let the vendors put hard work on a site that has no future.

Same here, last year january i had better sales with only 1 product but this month only 2 sale with 5 products.
December 2024 sales was normal, but this january is such a flop :face_with_head_bandage: :ice_cube:

There’s no specific indicator why your sales are currently down. All your products are discoverable, so there’s nothing preventing people from buying your products.

Payout balances for UEM were rolled into Fab. You haven’t met the $100 minimum threshold for a monthly payout. However, you will receive a year-end payout on January 30 for any unpaid revenue.

There’s no news on ArtStation’s store closing and merging with Fab. When we are ready for the store to join Fab, we’ll share information so the community knows what to expect.

Thanks,
Josh

It would be pretty great if that didn’t happen, honestly. FAB hasn’t been well received.

Epic has the opportunity to still maintain at least one separate market that is actually still usable by professionals. This isn’t a a bad thing.

Just revert back to ue marketplace, everyone(buyers and sellers on this forum, discord and reddit) is disliking the direction of Fab is taking.

With ue marketplace we were used to quality products for a specific market which is unreal engine.

Fab is starting to lose reputation and that what is causing the issues with sales for all sellers. This will continue to get worsen because Roadmap and ReleaseNotes haven’t changed at all.
