I have recently found myself in a dilemma where an asset I have that was made in Maya seems to use the wrong axis. Simply put, while the animation looks like it is walking forwards the character walks upwards, almost like they are flying, instead. I have fiddled around with the import rotation and translation settings but unless I am missing something these do not seem to be helping. I do not own maya myself so I am not sure what to do to fix the issue.
Is there anything I can do in UE4 to fix it? I have seen references to an ‘animation blueprint axis’, but in the animation blueprint setup I did not see anything of this sort.
