Issues with landscape imports

Hi,

I'm having issues with random height mapping when importing an .fbx file into twinmotion as a landscape. When i import the file as geometry, it works fine (see in red), however i cannot paint/sculpt the surface as it is just a regular mesh. When i import the same file as a landscape file, twinmotion seems to assign totally random heights across the surface (see in green).

The topography is created in revit and exported as a .fbx - when i open it in blender, it looks correct, suggesting the issue lies somewhere in the import. I've tried various settings like auto unit conversion on/off, smoothing on/off, but consistently get the same results.

Any clues as to why this is happening, or a suggested better workflow for getting real-world topo data into TM?

Thanks

Euan

Hello ,

This sounds like it might be a bug. Could you please submit a bug report here and share a copy of your files with us? We'll need the imported FBX file, as well as the Twinmotion project file where you noticed the issue Our support team can take a look and let you know what we find.

Best,

Did this ever get resolved? I've had similar issues importing FBX files
