Issue with using ethernet sync policy in nDisplay

I am using an ethernet connection to link 3 computers together to sync the display content. However, when I click “Start all connected nDisplay devices”, all the screens turn black. At the same time, the Switchboard tool shows the “present mode” as n/a (not available).

Has anyone else encountered a similar situation before? If so, how did you resolve it and get the displays on the connected computers to properly sync? I would appreciate any suggestions on how to fix this.

I unfortunately don’t have a solution, but remember running into the same issue (with 5.3 iirc) on a test machine a few weeks back.
Our main cluster seems to work fine, so I never dug deeper to try and solve it. I’ll keep an eye out in case it happens again.
