Issue with Thigh Bone Rotation in Control Rig Basic IK

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with the Basic IK node in Control Rig where the thigh bone rotates incorrectly once the solver is applied.

The original rotation of my Leg_L0_Thigh bone (in its reference/neutral pose) is: (Pitch=-90.000000,Yaw=90.000000,Roll=0.000000)

However, as soon as I apply the Basic IK node, the rotation values of the thigh bone change to: (Pitch=-2.251028,Yaw=-4.195148,Roll=-2.082057)

I have already verified that the Primary Axis and Secondary Axis are configured correctly according to my skeleton’s joint orientation, but the thigh still snaps to this weird rotation.

Does anyone know why the Basic IK is overriding the default rotation this way, or how I can maintain the correct orientation while using the solver?

In the attached image, you can clearly see the difference between the left and right legs. I applied the Basic IK to the Right leg (R), while the Left leg (L) remains without it. The Right thigh is showing an abnormal rotation compared to the original pose of the Left thigh. This confirms that the issue is being caused specifically by the Basic IK solver.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
