Issue with Mesh collapsing due to gravity?

Good day,
I am trying to get a mesh to fracture using physics. However, after “Fracturing” the mesh and disabling clustering, the mesh basically collapses under its own weight?
With clustering enabled the mesh takes a LOT of force to fracture.
What can I adjust in these object’s settings to correct this?
