"Hi everyone! I’m experiencing an audio recording issue in UE5.5 that might be related to audio track changes since UE5.1. Here’s what’s happening:
I’m using the Take Recorder to capture gameplay with an external microphone for real-time audio recording. After completing the first recording and attempting to record again in a Level Sequence, the previously recorded audio keeps playing back in a loop.
The issue details:
- The audio playback seems to be stuck in a loop
- Neither Level Sequence nor Take Recorder can control this playback
- The only solution is to close the editor completely
- Even in a new, empty level, the first recording continues to play back
- This might be related to how UE5.4/5.5 handles audio tracks differently compared to UE5.1
Current behavior: - Audio keeps playing back uncontrollably
- Can’t stop it without closing the editor
- Affects all subsequent recordings
Expected behavior: - Each recording session should be independent
- No unwanted audio playback from previous recordings
- Proper control through Level Sequence and Take Recorder
System info: - UE Version: 5.5
