Issue with Audio Recording in UE5.5 Level Sequencer

"Hi everyone! I’m experiencing an audio recording issue in UE5.5 that might be related to audio track changes since UE5.1. Here’s what’s happening:

I’m using the Take Recorder to capture gameplay with an external microphone for real-time audio recording. After completing the first recording and attempting to record again in a Level Sequence, the previously recorded audio keeps playing back in a loop.

The issue details:

  • The audio playback seems to be stuck in a loop

  • Neither Level Sequence nor Take Recorder can control this playback

  • The only solution is to close the editor completely

  • Even in a new, empty level, the first recording continues to play back

  • This might be related to how UE5.4/5.5 handles audio tracks differently compared to UE5.1
    Current behavior:

  • Audio keeps playing back uncontrollably

  • Can’t stop it without closing the editor

  • Affects all subsequent recordings
    Expected behavior:

  • Each recording session should be independent

  • No unwanted audio playback from previous recordings

  • Proper control through Level Sequence and Take Recorder
    System info:

  • UE Version: 5.5

  • External microphone input

  • Using Take Recorder and Level Sequence
