[Issue management] Allow public to view internal issue management system

  1. A lot of valid issues reported in the forums are automatically closed, though they are all valid issues. After an issue is closed no one can comment/upvote. You would need to create a new issue.
  2. There are a lot of duplicates of the same issue, upvotes are not consolidated, the very first report often does not become the main ticket.
  3. A lot of fixed issues are not listed in the release notes.

If you make the internal bug management system public (read only, selected few fields like status, resolution, title, bug number, device) and allow the forum bug reports to be linked to internal tickets, then you do not have to manage anything in the forum, wait for certain number of upvotes, create new reports for the same “closed" issue. You would never need to close any forum bug reports, we could review all linked issues, discuss temporary workarounds in our forum reports.

A new unlinked report should create a new internal ticket even without 3 upvotes.

It would be super to see a backlogged issue with low priority or a “will not fix” decision rather than creator reports closed automatically.

It would help if you could find all currently open / known issues for a particular device.

Additional fields can later be available, for example developer recommendations to help creators configure devices in a certain way or workarounds.
