Is VOIP Talker Broken Completely in UE5.6?

Hello! I’ve been making games for a while and I noticed what seems to be a pretty glaring issue in 5.6, I’ve been beating my head against a wall trying to figure out the issue but to no avail. For some unknown reason, VOIP talkers seem to be completely refusing to gather any voice input locally or when replicated. I’ve tried to create a new project, re-configure the project multiple times, and experiment with replication more to try and find a work around but to no avail. The Voip talker does not even react when added to the character before beginplay and being set to auto activate. It will successfully attach itself to the PlayerState but simply doesn’t do anything further. I’m at a loss. Loopback also is not working, and setting any input thresholds do nothing as well. Other means of voice input such as audio captures work as intended and successfully capture my mic just fine. If someone could help out, that would be great!

Hey there @BeastTornado! I’m seeing multiple reports of the Voice Chat module being broken in various ways in 5.6. Is it possible for you to submit a full bug report here?
