Is unreal engine 4 an step backward in water physics?

Hi everyone, im really new in the forums as you can see, and ive been looking around for while here, and i just wonder if is just me or the unreal engine 4, is lacking to get a decent water textures/physics/simulation, and i mean compared with the one seen in here

yeah, this is the unreal engine 3 tech demo, back in 2008.

As you can see in this video, the fluid physics are superb, kinda cool how even the splashes were pretty realistic, now i see unreal engine 4, and… were is this?, where are all that physics tech demos, ive been looking for a long time on youtube and also here in the forums, ive been looking around for blueprints or anything related with fluid physics, but nothing, and i hope nobody ends up talking about nvidia physx, cause that ain’ the case , what do you think? :slight_smile:

Please keep in mind, that UE4 is a complete rewrite, and i suspect there are currently other tasks with a much higher priority.
