Is ue5 based of ue4?

My project has heavy reliance on proceduralmesh, and need it to function, what are the chances support for it will continue, or something similar?

It’s looking like UE5 is going to be a incremental upgrade with a new lighting system and Nanite virtualized geometry. Epic devs has said “Your UE4 projects will continue to work in **UE5” **That doesn’t mean somethings wont break or lose support.
