Sorry, I previously posted the attachment but not the question.
My son Micky is currently undertaking a computer graphics course and he has been advised that to run the Unreal Engine 4 programme he needs to upgrade his system.
I have attached a copy of the spec for a pc I am proposing to buy him but we need a little advise as to whether the graphics card and processor will be acceptable.
any advice you can provide would be gratefully received.
Sorry, I got carried away and pressed the wrong button.
Yes, I am buying a new pc for my son, and want to make sure that the spec is acceptable to run Unreal Engine 4. - I have since re-posted my question in its entirety .
Thank you very much responding, any help you can provide would be great.
Hm, i don’t want to give false advice, but i think AT LEAST the graphic card is way to weak.
I have a GTX 970 (that’s maybe a BIT to much) that costs ~320€. I can play AC Unity on Ultra with 40 fps. If you now think about the Unreal Engine 4 which can create games like this (CAN, so you could take a bit slower graphic card). So here is a screenshot comparing both cards:
But like i already said, i don’t want to give false advice. The processor of mine is 2 years old. The graphic card is just 2 weeks old. I have 8GB RAM.
Also a small SSD and a medium size HDD instead of just a big HDD will make the PC run really fast.
