Is this megascan mesh missing geometry?

Hello there, as you guys can see. I’m putting the building pieces together but one of the parts from the roof kit is missing geometry i guess?

As i rotate the same piece i am not able to see the other face.

Hey there @ErenJaeger2.0! Is that just the rotated piece from the other side? It’s possible that it doesn’t have back faces as they aren’t usually going to be seen in buildings. Is there another alternative to the mesh for the right in the pack? If not, you could invert it’s scale and reverse it that way. Just verify it doesn’t cause any lighting issues as with some meshes it can.

No there is no alternative to this, in the render shown in bridge there is supposed to be two sided mesh. this one is only 1 side, also even if i rotate or scale - value it won’t change anything it will change the direction of the shape i want

If it’s symmetrical and you don’t mind the extra material overhead (very little) you could go into the material and set it’s details to two sided. This will stop the internal faces culling and might work in your case.

no, i tried this, from the other side it is missing geometry and if i set it to two sided i will still have a big squared hole in the middle, As an intermediate-level modeler, I can easily fix it in blender to add geometry then re-uv unwrap it. but I was just wondering if there’s a piece i’m not getting or something, Or a bug that i can report so the devs in quixel can fix it

Ahhh gotcha, couldn’t tell if it was separated from the image alone. Quixel support requests now go through this form, I don’t believe there is still a separate one for just bug reports without support requests themselves.
