Is there something wrong with Day/Night Device?

I’ve been looking at setting the time of day, cloud coverage, fog etc etc. So I use the day/night device and place my setting in that. For some reason however, when I then launch Fortnite, it seems to do whatever it wants.

i.e. I set the time of day fixed at 10 am with no clouds and thick fog.

In Fornite it sets the time at night time with stars and no fog.

It’s like a constant battle against some hidden additional settings that are overwriting my device. I’ve also noticed that, whilst in the editor, it doesn’t update correctly. I’ve set my device exactly how I want it, I press CTRL+S to save and the editor flickers and the settings change a bit)

Anyone experienced this? is it bugged?

Not to sure but if its an Island Template, it could have a day/night setting already in it affecting it. Check through your outliner for any greyed out object related to this.

I think the way around that is going into World Settings and either Disable All Time Of Day Managers or see if your Day/Night Device is selected in the World Time Of Day Manager.

Is this using the Day Sequence device?

You might have to set the Priority (under General) to a higher number, as it may be being overridden by another Day Sequence in your experience.
