This seems super simple but I can’t find anything on how to do this. Let’s say I have a root motion animation which moves the character 100 units forward, how would I go about creating a copy of that animation but instead of moving directly forward my skeleton starts with a rotation of 45 degrees and then moves 100 units forward from there.
Not sure about this but is it possible to use Control Rig? I’m thinking what if I could bake the keyframes for the root bone control to local space instead of world, would the keyframes that drives the root bone forward then be affected by rotating it?
I’m aware I could just rotate my character before playing the animation but I would really like to take advantage of the animation montage blending when playing the diagonal animation.
