When I import an animation from maya, it seems to have a problem! there are some frame losts, what is going on ? and how can i stop this from happening ?
One thing that often makes animations seem to import incorrectly is having ‘Looping Interpolation’ set to True. This will basically force the first and last frame of your animation to match whenever the anim loops. This can cause the preview in Persona to seem incorrect, particularly during the very end of the anim. You can turn ‘Looping Interpolation’ off by unchecking it’s box in the Anim Asset Details panel in Persona.
If that isn’t the source of your problem, do you mind sending us the FBX file that isn’t importing correctly? We import animations from maya into Unreal everyday without issue; so, it would be helpful for us to see what is going wrong in your particular case.
