Hi everyone,
Sorry if this has already been discussed I couldn’t find a clear answer.
I recently reached out to a seller about an item but didn’t receive any response for a couple of months. This made me wonder if there is any way within the community to identify or flag inactive users/sellers, so others don’t end up spending time on listings that are no longer being monitored.
Even a simple indicator like “last active” or “recently responsive” could be helpful in improving trust and reducing wasted communication attempts.
There’s also a broader question I’ve been thinking about: in cases where older or inactive listings remain visible, is it fair that they continue to influence price expectations for active buyers and sellers? It feels like it can sometimes distort the real market value, especially when people use those listings for pricing reference even though the seller is no longer engaged.
Would be interested to hear how others handle this or if there are any best practices within the community.
Thanks!
