Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to move multiple static meshes from the Outliner to the Content Browser and they still being their own static meshes?
So far I’ve just been using the Merge Actor function to make new Actors in the Content Browser. However I find this process slow since you can only do one mesh at a time as far as I’m aware.
Normally this would be okay, but I have to move hundred of meshes. So is there anyway to do this quickly in vanilla ue5? Or is there a plugin that can do this?
What meaning does this have?
If you move a cube from the browser to a level, it’s an instance of a cube. You can put hundreds of cubes in the level.
You don’t need to move it back to the browser. You only need one cube there.
Basically I’m resizing meshes and putting them back into the content browser.

It’s not really a supported ‘pipeline’, I think that’s why you feel the tools are missing.
Most people would resize them on pulling them into the level.
Right, normally I would do this in a modeling program. But that really isn’t an option for this project.
Hi Clav1g3r,
I have a plugin on the marketplace that can resize meshes in the content browser:
