I have talked with ChatGPT about an idea for a First Person Shooter Game I want to create. I have very specific ideas and I want to combine a wide arrange of features. Problem is, I have never developed a game before, it’s just a passion project I want to work on. Now, ChatGPT’s Database is not up to date and a lot of the titles (for example: how to implement specific movements inside the EventGraph) have changed since it’s early Beta (ChatGPT’s Database was last updated in 2021). So, with all of that in mind, is there a way that I can create my Game inside Unreal Engine 5.5 with the help of an AI chat that knows and understands what features I want to implement and that has a database that is updated to the current terminology that is used inside UE’s current version?
ChatGPT is only going to be good enough to push you in the right direction, if you ask it for step by step instructions, half of them will be nonsense for Unreal Engine, but it might be enough for you to be able to figure it out or at least learn what to search for on your own.
