I’m struggling to understand what’s happening to your island after you publish it. I’ve been hard working on the creation on an island for 2 months until I came up with a result I felt proud enough and published it a week ago.
Since then, I or any of my friends never saw it at any time in any of the “Discover” or “Browse” category. Personally, I never saw one random player in my game. The only way to play it for now is to manually enter the Island Code.
I was having fun so far and was excited to add more features in my Island, but I must admit that all the motivation has gone away knowing nobody can play it anyway.
For people who were able to publish an island that is discoverable, was there an time period between the moment you publish it and the moment it appears public? And if there was, how long did it takes?
Did you have to generate a lot traction on social media outside Fortnite to make it finally appear in Fortnite?
Did you have to submit you’re map to “Epic’s pick”? If yes, were you accepted and how long did it takes to get an answer?
Also, did someone saw its Island disappear one day after being discoverable?
