Is there a way to export a spline?

Hey all,

Is there a way to export a spline from UE4 to Maya? I’m using splines to rough-in a river design in UE4 and then want to take that shape and make it more detailed in Maya.

Duh. Export selected is exactly what I need.

how did you export these splines? Are these splines that were placed on the landscape?

Select the spline actor in the world outline or in your scene. Right-Click on it and Select Merge actors. Choose content browser path to save in the dialog window. This will create a proper static mesh version of the spline in the content browser path you chose.
The mesh in the scene and world outline will still be spline versions

Then right click the generated mesh in your content browser. Choose actor actions>export.

Open it in Maya. Update the mesh. You will then need to re-import it and replace the spline actor in the scene with your static mesh version.
