Is there a tutorial for getting codeblocks working with UE4 instead of visual studio?

Is there a tutorial for getting codeblocks working with UE4 in Windows specifically, instead of visual studio?
I know that Visual Studio is only officially supported, but I read in a few places that others got around it.

Why would you want to? Working with the massive project without VS + Visual Assist would be a nightmare.

Well it’s the first time I’m hearing of this “visual assist” since I am new to programming, & I’m not a fan of Microsoft, so the more options I have, the better. Care to tell me more about this visual assist? It seems it costs money as well…

It’s an extension that replaces the slow intellisense stuff with something that actually works and runs like 100 times faster. You get more accurate autocomplete and it’s really helpful for navigating the engine code aswell. Almost everyone working with the engine is using it.

Great question I was wondering the same thing. Thanks for asking!
