Is there a timeframe for Sequencer to replace Matinee?

Anyone knows if this has been mentioned in the many data streams we have? Trello has only one entry for sequencer and that’s about the design.
Can we expect Sequencer this year, maybe this summer?

Matinee is a bit strange to work with and I wouldn’t mind prioritizing tasks to avoid it if possible.
