Hi i am wondering if there is a square brush for landscape painting, so i can set the brush side by side at each edge and lay down foliage. So it doesnt overlap the other foliage already layed down. Thanx
Have a look in Landscape Brushes | Unreal Engine Documentation
You can create custom brush shapes using textures, such as Alpha
Right , I can do that in landscape mode , but how can I get a square brush in the foliage tool? Sorry if my original post was unclear as it sounded like the landscape. What I am wanting to do is use a square brush for placing foliage so I can place squares of foliage next to each other , as a circle overlaps the other foliage positions when placing.
I’m pretty sure this isn’t an option. You can usually get the desired effect by adjusting the density, radius and other settings on each foliage type you’re using. If that’s not enough control, you can remove instances that aren’t placed to your liking using the single instance selector (then you can move them around or delete them).
Is this still impossible?
If so, any idea why?
