I use a lot of Quixel meshes in normal quality and want to switch to Nanite. Is there a quick way to replace all meshes in the level with the Nanite version?
You should be able to select them all and then bulk edit with the property matrix to enable Nanite.
Hi AlterWanderer,
Select your meshes in the content browser, right click - then near the top you’ll see a “Nanite” sub menu from where you can enable/disable them:
Oh, sorry for not making that clear. I downloaded Quixel assets with the ‘Medium Quality’ preset and built my level with them. But now, I would like to replace them with the ‘Nanite’ quality preset. Is there a way to replace them automatically?
I see what you mean - I don’t think there is any way to automate the whole procedure though sorry.
You can go to your “Local” section in bridge, select all the meshes you want to upgrade, then choose “Nanite” from there and download and add to your project, but then you will still need to replace each one in your level - that could be done in a editor script or plugin if you have 100’s…
