I am looking for a character creator similar to the Dark Souls series but I haven’t been able to find one.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
There are some characters on marketplace that have morph targets and can be used in character customization for a game.
However this all is heavily connected to models you have, so first you need model that is customizable (has morph targets) then you need code around it.
So those models from market place are more like base for system or even tutorial example than really ready to use in game.
You should look into characters on marketplace, get one of those customizable characters pack, then get at least two characters that fit your game style.
And i am afraid there is no way around coding it all yourself for your models.
On top of it all is animations system working with your models and animations. This whole thing is huge interconnected mess.
