Is there a change to Importing Heightmaps in 5.3.1?

So, I have been importing heightmaps into UE since 4.25 and had no problems that a little research didn’t resolve. But things have changed, importing a World Partition single image 16bit png and I get this:

So what happened to the other three quarters of the image. I have tried the transform scaled to 400 and 100 as well as the 200 showing. I note also under 5.3.1 we have some new outline objects turn up with the process, namely LocationVolume. I might point out that other objects in these zones are visible below “the step” but the landscape there is not displayed -

How to resolve this?

To answer my own question - this seems to be a result of a landscape conversion from 5.2 under a scenario where although it converted the existing, 5.3 doesn’t seem to be able to import the same “section size/sections per component” combination. Previously I had 1024 components on a 16321 map, trying to replicate the number of components was what was killing it.
Ended up importing a fresh with 255x255 and 1x1 taking me to 4096 components. But this is proving a problem with Nanite, that is I cant save the level it after enabling nanite without it crashing, so back to the drawing board.

Try 2x2 components,
whatever the size may be.

I’d also create flat, try nanite, then if it does work at that size change the height map.
