Is softlaunching good or is it better to just launch the final version?

I’ve been wondering how softlaunching maps may affect their future performance in order to prototype better.

We know the discover algorithm tries to position a map once

Is it better to publish when it’s 100% finished, or launch in beta state and finish development and iterate in public?

ps: If this isn’t the appropriate channel for this kind of debate please tell me which one.

I reckon final versions need updating anyway because UEFN is still in beta.
I had a listed map and a few updates ago the landscape would just let the player fall through at a certain distance from the centre, I gotta get around to fixing it…

This is sounds like good advice

Thanks! That makes sense
