I asked this question on irc support channel and got redirected here. Also I got told that all of members absolutely have to register Epic account.
Providing they indeed do (all of them downloaded source and tried to compile) however on some machines compilation fails due to host software issues (mostly clang issues) - is it legal to provide successfully built Linux SDK to those people? We are able to verify with 100% accuracy thet they do have accounts and they do have access to UE4 repository.
Indeed i believe that compiling UE4 SDK for Linux can be a problem for less advanced linux users using less popular distributions considering I personally have to build it on laptop then copy because on desktop workstation compilation also crashes. I don’t want to get into tech details about all those compilation issues because there’s plenty of them, that’s why providing working binaries would save us a lot of time and allow to avoid VMs.
