I dont think you should discount what’s being said there Luftbaunch. Pirating things is (at least in part) cultural. It isn’t recognized by most people as stealing on an emotional level. Sure we know it is, but we don’t have nearly the same rush or guilt as walking into a store and grabbing something off the shelf. So when your parents have been pirating music and games for 20 years it’s unlikely they’re going to do much scolding on the topic. Which means cultural change will have to come from people in positions of authority that do care: And maybe that is good youtube casters, or maybe it is someone else.
I’m not saying I agree 100% with it, but its at least a reasonable theory
