Just looking for some advices: is mobile game a good direction to go?
I am a very senior dev in mobile industry. But I have never touched game developing officially, except some hobby projects. And I can see a lot of good mobile apps that are struggling with monetization (including my own products), only games are running well so far on mobile devices. From outside of the gaming industry, I feel this could be a very profitable market in coming years. But I also saw some negative threads that telling the game market is very competitive etc. What is your opinion?
Also, if I move from mobile dev to game dev, would there be a big barrier for me? (skill set: Java/C&C++/Objective C)
