Is lidar used when realityscan is run on pixel6 pro? The pixel 6 pro has the same lidar functionality as the iPhone 12/13. I would expect the same level of detail available.

No, the RealityScan app doesn’t use the iPhone’s lidar capability. The 3D reconstruction is purely based on images captured by the camera, which allows the app to be used even on Android devices without lidar capability.
